NINA ROSE

Nina is back again with her brand new track 'motorway' which is set to be a favourite on the playlist. Following the success of her previous single “Like I Do” which has racked over 10K streams, her latest single defiantly brings something light hearted to raise people's spirts given the current climate.

With its catchy chorus and memorable hook 'motorway' radiates nothing but good vibes and positive energy.

" ...is all about partying and having a good time with your friends. Making the best of a good night out because you don’t know what tomorrow might bring"

Referring to herself as the conscious Rebel she definitely pushes the narrative of being wise but still living life to the fullest. We caught up with her to find out her thought process behind 'motorway' and what plans she has next.

When did you first become interested in music?

From the womb but physically about the age of 5, I’ve loved singing and dancing. I grew up with my older cousins so I was exposed to RnB and HipHop, I fell in love from then.

You’ve just released your latest single ‘Motorway’ what was the creative process behind this?

I was literally up early hours writing, as I find that’s when i’m most creative. I wrote the hook and the rest came after a session with my friend.

Motorway is a different vibe from your previous single 'like I do' What was the main message you wanted to get across with this new release?

Me and my people are lit and we have the best time when we go out. Also wanted people to have fun with it and encourage letting go.

Do you have a favourite lyric you've written or heard?

has to be Sir's “your heartbeat woke me up this morning, still got the taste of you on the tip of my tongue”.

Can we expect any visuals from you down the line?

Yes Motorway visuals are out soon. And a few other projects i’ve worked on.

Masego, IAMDDB, Lauryn Hill and my ancestors.
